Gabe Witcher is also a founding member of the group. He has been performing since the young age of 5 and dominated the Southern California fiddle contest circuit until he retired at age 14. He is also an award winning guitar and mandolin player. Gabe currently is in demand as a session player. He has recorded on such notable projects as "Farm Dogs" with Bernie Taupin, "Leroy Mack and Friends" with dobro legend Leroy Mack, "Blue Ramble 2" and "Back on the Street Again" with the Laurel Canyon Ramblers, "Bakersfield Bound" with Herb Pedersen and Chris Hillman, Toy Story’s "You’ve Got a Friend" with Randy Newman and Lyle Lovett, 1998 Grammy winner "All Aboard" with John Denver, and with Emmylou Harris and Beck. He has also contributed to the soundtracks of many television commercials and shows such as "The Lazarus Man", "Roar", "Party of 5" and "George and Leo", and has appeared with Beck and Willie Nelson on the Tonight Show and Farmaid and also in concert with Beck. He has worked with producers such as Don Was and Peter Asher. In July 06 Gabe will be playing with Jerry Douglas on tour with Paul Simon and is also on Merle Haggard's latest album "Chicago Wind".
