The Witcher Brothers, a California band, was formed in 1985 by Dennis Witcher, his then 6-year-old son Gabe and a few friends. They combined a unique blend of bluegrass, country, blues and western swing to create the distinctive Witcher Brothers sound. Now, after three albums and over 14 years of performing throughout California and the West, the Witcher Brothers are considered one of the hottest bands in the Southwest. They are noted for their powerful energetic instrumental solos, tight three-part harmony and heartfelt original material. Their music spans a wide range from traditional to contemporary, as well as original bluegrass compositions and bluegrass gospel.
